Survey & fixed quote
We survey the substrate, measure every elevation and issue a fixed written quote — usually within 48 working hours.
Preparation & protection
Scaffold up, windows and grounds sheeted, old coatings keyed or removed, beads and stops set square with stainless fixings.
Machine spray application
Monocouche applied 10–20mm in one pass with our own spray pumps — even coverage a hand float can't match.
Scratch & finish
Once green, the surface is scratched back to a uniform texture — ashlar cuts or bellcast details formed where specified.

Monocouche through coloured rendering
Monocouche through coloured render is a one coat, ready mixed, cementitious, weather resistant, external decorative, through coloured render suitable for most types of brick or blockwork. The through colour and one coat features allow fast application with shorter programme periods, thereby reducing associated scaffolding and site costs and permitting the completion of ground works at an earlier stage. It can be scraped, scraped with Ashlar cuts and stone or textured.
Through coloured renders are applied as one coat rather than two coats as with traditional sand and cement renders. another great benefit of through coloured renders is that it allows your building to “breathe” which means any moisture trapped in wall cavity can be easy escape which eliminates problem with damp. Monocouche through coloured render is a cost effective solution, requiring less time to complete, produces a decorative finish which is virtually maintenance free and guaranteed usually for ten years by the manufacturers.

Monocouche spray render costs £50–£65 per m² supply-and-fit on a typical UK home. A 3-bed semi works out at £7,500–£10,000 and a 4-bed detached at £11,000–£14,600. Final cost depends on access, substrate condition and chosen finish — every customer gets a free fixed-price quote after a site survey.
A properly specified system lasts for decades with no maintenance other than occasional pressure washing. Manufacturer warranties are provided on the manufacturer's own terms. The most common cause of premature failure is DIY application under 10mm thick.
Monocouche is through-coloured — the pigment runs through the full 10–20mm thickness, so it never needs painting and scratches don't show a different colour underneath. Standard palettes from PRB, K Rend and Weber offer around 20–30 shades, from brilliant white to sandstone and grey.
EWI on a semi-detached property takes about two weeks. Thin-coat silicone rendering is typically completed in a week, and monocouche spray render takes just 3–4 days on a semi-detached house thanks to the efficiency of the spray pump.
Usually not — re-rendering in a similar finish falls under permitted development for most houses. You DO need consent if the property is listed, in a conservation area with an Article 4 direction, or a flat. External wall insulation that changes the appearance may also need approval — we advise on this at survey, free of charge.
