Across published UK trade guides, monocouche runs £45–£90 per m², silicone thin-coat £55–£110 per m², and external wall insulation £110–£210 per m². Our own published South East rates — monocouche £50–£65, silicone £60–£75, EWI £130–£190 — sit at the value end of each range, which is deliberate: our teams and equipment are in-house, so there is no subcontract margin stacked into the price.
Cost per house type (monocouche, full wrap)
2-bed terrace £4,500–£7,000 (3 days). 3-bed semi £7,500–£10,000 (3–4 days). 4-bed detached £11,000–£14,600 (4–6 days). 5-bed executive £14,000–£19,500 (6–8 days). All figures include scaffold, system, labour and waste.
The whole-life numbers
A through-coloured system lasts for decades with no repaint. Traditional painted render needs recoating every 5–10 years at £2,000–£4,000 plus scaffold each time — over 25 years that's £6,000–£16,000 of maintenance a monocouche or silicone system never incurs. EWI adds £300–£500 a year in heating savings on a solid-wall semi (Energy Saving Trust).
